Net-Zero Carbon
Our commitment extends to adopting cutting-edge technologies for transforming CO2 into valuable products and chemicals. Notably, significant strides have been made in utilizing photosynthetic biological pathways at Jamnagar to convert CO2 emissions into high-value proteins, nutraceuticals, advanced materials, and fuels. Our focus is on advancing next-gen carbon capture and storage technologies.
Additionally, we possess proprietary technology capable of converting transportation fuels into valuable petrochemical and material building blocks. Concurrently, we aim to replace transportation fuels with clean electricity and hydrogen. Successfully implementing this strategy is integral to Reliance’s goal of achieving net carbon neutrality by 2035.
In alignment with this commitment, we took a groundbreaking step in 2021 by sourcing two million barrels of the world’s first carbon-neutral oil from the Permian basin—a significant move towards ABG Global’s net-zero carbon objectives.
